Directly derived from the Fiat 124 Sedan, the 124 Spider (or Sport-Spider) is convertible car that the Italian automaker produced in direct competition with the Alfa Romeo Duetto. In common with the "Duetto" there was a large appreciation of the car in the US market. The car was designed and built by Pininfarina throughout its production period.
