1927 Bugatti 41 Royale - Torpedo open

Chassis number 41100, the first Royale built, had five bodies during its life:

1926 Packard Phaeton - The original Prototype and the car depicted by this model.

1928 "Fiacre" Coupé - Clearly an Ettore design.

1928, 4-door Berline - Basically a limousine version of the second body.

1929 Coach Weymann - The car was in this configuration when it was severley damaged in a road accident in 1931.
However, it was rebuilt and received its hitherto last body, the

1931 Coupé de Ville "Napoleon" - Designed by Jean Bugatti.

This is how the car is preserved to this day.
