This Cortina script badge was mounted on the right-hand side of the boot lid (trunk) of the redesigned Ford Cortina Mk 2 model launched in October of 1967. All Cortina's (including the Lotus variant: above a 'Twin-Cam' emblem) would carry this badge until the Mk3 model was launched late in 1970.
