The design of Ferrari Modulo dates back to 1967 but was created by Pininfarina in 1970 on the basis of the Ferrari 512 S. It was a memorable concept car for  the futuristics choices for its time: the wheels were partially covered and the access to car is through a canopy - style roof. The car has won numerous design awards.
