This model was the second American Corgi made, after the Studebaker. Roughly the first range of cars Corgi made, from nr 200 to nr 216, came in three variations: in one colour, two-tone and as a motorized model.
The code-3 (Custom) ones pictured here are two motorized 'twins.' Because the top is riveted in the upper shell, and a separate part, they are exchangable.
