Hampden Watch Company had a decade and a half genealogy of name changes, locations, and mediocrity when purchased by John Dueber of the Deuber Watch Company. It moved from Springfield, Massachusetts to Canton, Ohio in the mid-1880s. It operated until 1930 when it was sold to Russia.
