Model Cars

James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Nr 261

1 Custom

As with the Batmobile, also this one has the be mentioned.

Because millions were sold, scrap models can be found cheap. The Corgi bible shows that it was very cleverly made, and the model was even placed in a test rig with counter, to see how many times the gadgets could stand the test.

The real car was silver in the movie Goldfinger, but the model was done in gold, as the story is that a silver one looked unpainted. (later variations were done in silver by Corgi) Parts which would easily break or go missing are the roof, ejector seat, suspension, and of course......the bandit!

This restored one is done in silver of course, and the broken plastic suspension and ejector mechanism  are replaced by steel.
