Let The Experts Answer Your Questions

  • What's so good about rotary engine cars?
  • What happens when you step on it?
  • What's different about driving it?
  • How is it on repairs?
  • Is it really put together?
  • What does it run on?
  • What about smog?
  • What's the rest of ther car like?
  • Is it a good buy?

Lame questions answered with quotes from articles about the cars.  I would not consider Playboy & The Wall Street Journal or even Road & Track to be experts.

TLDR: A bunch of people have flattered us in return for a long-term advertising commitment to their publication.

An official of the Toyo Kogyo Company, Japan's #3 auto manufacturer, makes this prediction: "Within 10 years, almost all automobiles produced in the world, oincluding those made in Detroit, will have rotary engines"." Cue sad trombone.  Apparently the rotary an ideal engine for hydrogen powered cars, so if we ever reach that phase then maybe Mazda will get their due.
