Massey-Ferguson 165 Tractor

Alternative Name: 1964-1975 Massey Ferguson 165 Agricultural Tractor

This is the second Massey Ferguson, arriving in 1966 to replace the old 65. It is still as basic as the first one, with no steering and working parts. The only addition I can see is an exhaust pipe. When pushed there is a cog on the front axle that rotates and produces a sort of engine sound.

It is a very good reproduction of the real thing. I lived on an agricultural farm machinery depot at the time this came out and, whilst I never had one then, I can remember thinking how good the Corgi models looked in comparison to the real things I had around.

This is also available with the bucket and that version towing a 62 type trailer is in Gift Set 9. In 1970 a Massey Ferguson 165 is issued with a saw attachment.
