Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC (C-107)

In the early 70 's Mercedes-Benz needed to replace the old coupe that it was producing.
To shorten the development time, the roadster SL (R-107),as chosen as the basefor development. Keeping many parts of the body mechanical, and interior of the SL intact, the car was able to be sold in 1971, with a moderate commercial success. The 450 SLC is the coupe version of the 450 SL.
