Based in part on a design he worked on at General Motors, the S'Cool Bus became Tom Daniel's first model for Monogram. He went on to design such renowned models as the Red Baron, the Paddy Wagon and more – many of which also became Hot Wheels cars.
This edition was released for the April 2005 Hot Wheels Collectors Nationals in Chicago. Using the retooled casting from 1993, feature highlights of this release include: Spectraflame® yellow finish; ghost flames; funny car style opening top; originial Redline era style five-spoke wheels and chrome-plated, full-metal chassis.
