Star Fox was released in 1997 as a 3D shooter video game themed around aircraft combat for the Nintendo 64 video game console. It is a reboot of the original Star Fox, and the only game in the Star Fox series to be released for the Nintendo 64 console.
The first Star Fox game for Ninendo 64 was the first game that utilized the Rumble Pak, which set the bar for an entire generation of vibrating controllers.
