TVR No 1 was Trevor Wilkinson's first car and incorporated a multi-tubular chassis (like all modern TVRs), Morris Eight mechanicals and a 1172cc Ford 100E engine to which he added his own metal bodywork. The car was sold to his cousin in 1949 for 325 GBP. This car no longer exists as it was damaged in an accident and was subsequently broken up and became a donor to build TVR No. 2 and No. 3.
