TVR No. 2

TVR No. 2 is similar to No. 1 and No. 3, and is the oldest surviving TVR.  It was fully restored in 1997 and is owned by Richard Wright (UK).

This second one is very similar to the first, except that is was fitted with coil spring and wishbone independent front suspension from the Austin A40 Devon saloon.  Trevor also refined a number of minor points including a larger radiator for improved engine cooling and added hub caps.  The rev counter came out of a Supermarine Spitfire.  The car raced in Formula 1172 in the mid 1960's at circuits such as Croft, Oulton and Aintree.
