This is the second Massey Ferguson, arriving in 1966 to replace the old 65. It is still as basic as the first one, with no steering and working parts. The only addition I can see is an exhaust pipe.
It is a very good reproduction of the real thing. I lived on an agricultural farm machinery depot at the time this came out and, whilst I never had one then, I can remember thinking how good the Corgi models looked in comparison to the real things I had around.
This is in reasonable condition, just having some chips on the bonnet and front end. A front tyre has been replaced.
This is also available with the bucket and that version towing a 62 type trailer is in Gift Set 9. In 1970 a Massey Ferguson 185 is issued but you can only get this with a saw attachment and this 165 continues for a while.
