From my own collection, a nice mini van with an original box. All in good condition.
These are very much in demand. Not sure why, although they are a lovely little vehicle and you can actually put things in them. The suspension is great and I recall that it did whizz around pretty well compared to many of the bulkier items I had.
I have two, this one is in really good condition with very minor blemishes and a little corrosion under the paint on the bonnet. I added the ‘Castrol’ transfers myself as a boy as my dad worked in an agricultural machinery depot and things like that were everywhere.
It would easily come off, I’m sure, but I quite like it. The suspension is good, the lights are there and the doors open and close as they should.
The box is extremely nice and fresh with 4/6 on one end and one flap has what looks like a small hole where a pencil end has been push through. It’s barely noticeable.
There are variants of the van with a silver painted grill and also a late version that has the same grill as for the ‘Countryman’ issue that appeared with a surfer and things. Neither are ones you’ll be likely to encounter but are worth getting if you do or, if you discover you have one, don’t let it go cheaply!
