Kleinbahn

Founded in 1947 Vienna by Erich Klein, Kleinbahn company manufactured inexpensive, model railways. Kleinbahn also sold, primarily to an Austrian market, models such as locomotives, passenger, and freight wagons, as well as buildings, bridges, and overhead contact lines.

Working mostly in 1/87 scale, Kleinbahn's Steyr and Mercedes-Benz saloon car models built in the 1970s became the base for Germany's Schimmer company a decade later in the 1980s.
