The GPK Flashback 2 set was released in early 2011 by the Topps Company, Inc., and shipped in the month of February, one year after the Flashback 1 release following the huge success of the Wacky Packages Flashback sets in 2008 and 2009. The GPK base set is comprised of 65 nostalgic characters by mainly veteran artists John Pound and Tom Bunk, including the Lost GPK subset that consists of five unpublished images, for a total of 160 base set cards, with twin names, rounded out by the 'Where Are They Now?' artwork subset, portraying classic GPK as they would appear today. The series is art directed by Jeff Zapata and supervising editor John Williams with additional work done by Colin Walton.
