Limited edition pin issued for the 10th anniversary of the Hard Rock Cafe Pigeon Forge. Pigeon Forge was partly named for the now-extinct passenger pigeon. The Anniversary Pin features a rendering of the last passenger pigeon, Martha. A little information about Martha, she was born in the year 1885 and passed away in the Cincinnati Zoo on September 1st, 1914, where she was then placed into the hands of the Smithsonian museum. RIP Martha. 
The pin also features the Little Pigeon River which runs through the city of Pigeon Forge, along with the silhouette of beautiful Great Smoky Mountains.
