This 17th anniversary pin features the Savings Bank’s Palace. Yes, it looks like a palace, but it was built as the Savings Bank (CEC) headquarters in 1900. The origins of the Bank date back to the latter half of the 19th century. The pin is in the shape of an hourglass with a gas lamp on each side.
