Description on Hot Wheels Packaging is 'Custom '67 Firebird.' This item is placed with the original Custom Pontiac Firebird, although it is known as a 1968 Firebird. This retooled release was carefully compared with the 1968 original, and other than the open hole torsion suspension, they are virtually the same as the 1968 U.S. version. The open hole torsion suspension was used on Hong Kong versions of this casting
