The Buick Estate was a line of full-sized luxury station wagons manufactured by the Buick division of General Motors. As its premier luxury division, Cadillac, didn't offer a station wagon, the Estate was GM's most expensive and most fully equipped entry in the market. The nameplate "estate" was a reference to the term country estate in wealthy suburban areas, and the British term "estate car" for a station wagon.
