In 1957 Vauxhall introduced a new medium family car known as the Victor. With its 1508cc engine and transatlantic styling it made everything else on British roads look distinctly staid. A year later the PA series Cresta and Velox arrived with their 6 cylinder engines to complete the "GM in miniature"look to Vauxhalls range.
