• 2012 was the first year that the Regular and Super Treasure Hunts were no longer the same casting
• 2012 was the first year that Super Treasure Hunts would be "hidden" in various series sets and no longer have their own T-Hunt series card numbered from 1 to 15
  
• 2012 was the last year that Regular Treasure Hunts would continue to be numbered 1 to 15 and retain a special T-Hunt series card; starting in 2013 there would no longer be a T-Hunt series
