American Motors Presents The All-New, All-American '56 Rambler

Rambler was a separate, compact car line within Nash.  That car was discontinued after the 1955 model year although it would revived.  This Rambler is a different car and larger car altogether.  This became the Rambler Classic and Rebel in 1958 when American Motors became the primary name instead of a sub-brand stiocked by Nash & Hudson dealers.

I love the wild multi-color patterns on these late Fifties Ramblers, particularly the wagons.  And take notice of the four door hardtop wagon in the photos.
