$5 Each Ed "Big Daddy" Roth Set of 4 Casino Chips

This is a casino chip from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas that celebrates Ed "Big Daddy Roth" and Rat Fink 1996.

Ed "Big Daddy" Roth (March 4, 1932 – April 4, 2001) was an American artist, cartoonist, illustrator, pinstriper and custom car designer and builder who created the hot rod icon Rat Fink and other characters. Roth was a key figure in Southern California's Kustom Kulture and hot rod movement of the late 1950s and 1960s.

Roth is best known for his grotesque caricatures — typified by Rat Fink — depicting imaginary, out-sized monsters driving representations of the hot rods that he and his contemporaries built.

Rat Fink is one of several hot rod characters created by artist Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, one of the originators of Kustom Kulture of automobile enthusiasts.  Roth conceived Rat Fink as an anti-hero to Mickey Mouse. Rat Fink is usually portrayed as either green or gray, comically grotesque and depraved-looking with bulging, bloodshot eyes, an oversized mouth with sharp, narrow teeth, and wearing red overalls with the initials "R.F." on them. He is often seen driving cars or motorcycles.

Each chip's value is $5.00.  Each chip front has Ed Roth in a black hat with the $5 and the Ed Roth Logo.  The back of each chip shows the RF (Rat Fink) Logo with different color background.  Each chip has a different Ed Roth custom creation car with the cuctom names.  Mysterion, Beatnik Bandit, Road Agent, Outlaw.
