Part of the 50th Anniversary Girl Series, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Hard Rock Cafe brand, founded in 1971. Each pin features a sexy girl in local costume, posing on top of the numerals and word "50 Years". The numerals "50" are mainly one colour with the word "Years" below them in gold script. On the "50" are bursts of fireworks and a silhouette of a local scene. At the bottom of the pin is a Hard Rock 50th anniversarylogo dangle in gold. The location name is at the bottom of the logo in black.
The London Hard Rock Hotel pin has a brown haired girl, dressed like a guardsman of the Brigade of Guards (black busby, red tunic - but black skirt and boots). She is shown lounging across the top of the numerals forming the "50" with her left hand raised to her left forehead in the manner of a military salute. The Silhuoette of London incudes what appears to be the dome of St Pauls Cathedral.
The pin is sold on a black backing card featuring a close-up of a vinyl recofrd. At the bottom of the card, in gold capital letters, are the words "Limited Edition". This card is used as standard for several 50th anniversary series.
The back of the pin is gold in appearance with a design of pairs of guitars placed head to toe at an oblique angle and interspersed with Hard Rock logos. A four line text box has a first line that reads "Limited Edition 200". A guitar pick shaped hologram authenticates the pin as a genuine Hard Rock product.
The pin went on retail sale, as part of the London Calling pin event, on 7 October 2021 price £13.45.
