Each pin is a 3D textured guitar body with antique gold base material and ornate trim. Guitar body features one or more local landmarks in gold and a sunburst background in two to four translucent colors. At top right of guitar body is a Hard Rock 50th anniversary logo in gold. At top center is a partial guitar neck that contains two black gems. At bottom is the location name in colored script.
A representation of Berlin landmarks fills much of the guitar body:Brandenburger Tor, Siegessaeule. There are radiating strips of colour in purple and dark green behind. A Hard Rock 50th Anniversary logo is placed top right on the guitar body.
The pin is sold on a black backing card with the outlines of various European edifices, including the Arc de Triomphe, Elizabeth tower and St Marys Axe (the Gherkin). Grey stripes radiate outward centrally from among the building outlines. The words "Limited Edition Regional Series" are printed at the bottom of the backing card in gold capitals.
