'68 Cougar

47 Variants  | 1 Custom
Had you been of driving age back in 1968, you might have dug cruising the strip in your tuff Cougar with the windows down and Jumpin’ Jack Flash blasting from the groovy 8-track tape player. If you weren’t (or just can’t remember), that’s okay, because you can time-trip to your heart’s content with the HWC Series Nine Real Riders ’68 Cougar!   Twin to the already-popular Mustang, the 1:1 Cougar was sold under Ford’s more luxury-oriented division, Lincoln-Mercury, and is considered by some to be the original plush pony car. Then, eight years ago Phil Riehlman took its design for a spin and the 2002 First Editions lineup saw the initial release of the mainline Hot Wheels version. For 2010, it arrived at HWC with a Spectraflame® red coat and real opening hood, along with a full-metal, polished-chrome-plated chassis, black interior, authentic decos, and Real Riders preferred wheels with red stripes. With features like these, this is one fast feline no collection should be without!
