Says: "February 14, 1965 - the 'Hawk', Ken Miles flies GT 350 SFM5R-002 for a racing photo that became famous as a P.R. photo for Shelby American and helped establish the prominence of the Shelby GT 350 among enthusiasts. The original GT 350 prototype and development platform or 'mule', 5R-002 amassed an impressive record of wins during its tenure as a Shelby American team car. In 1989, 5R-002 was found near Monterrey, Mexico where it had been stored in an open-air shed for 16 years. The permanent home of this most significant of all the GT 350s is in the Shelby American Collection in Boulder, Colorado."
