Subvariant title: 2009 Larry Wood 40 Years of Design
16 Variants
For 40 years, Larry Wood rocked the collector world with designs that capture the essence of speed, power, and performance—the hallmarks of the Hot Wheels brand. In 2009, HWC celebrated this unparalleled history with the launch of the HWC Series Eight Larry Wood 40 Years of Design Series. Kicking it off was the classic A-OK. Based on the Ford Model A, the A-OK was introduced back in 1978 in green as part of the Flying Colors lineup. Disappearing after 1981, it was then retooled in 2008 for the Since ‘68 line.
This updated version is more than just okay, it’s truly awesome! Designed by Master Wood himself, it’s covered in metalflake aqua paint, wears an Early Times Car Club deco on both sides, and is topped in flat black. Black running boards, VUM grille and engine, and Real Riders deep-dish wheels with red stripes complete the package.   Hot Wheels 2009 - Larry Wood 40 Years of Design # 1/6 - A-OK - Metallic Aqua - Real Riders - Limited to 7,500 - Toy # P2145
