Jameson was renowned for hostage release negotiations on Mordan IV. He accomplished this feat by providing weapons in violation of the Prime Directive. Jameson reconciled this by supplying the captor's opponents with equal weaponry. The resulting civil war lasted 40 years. Lured back to Mordan IV for atonement, Jameson died of complications from a self-inflicted cure for his chronic Iverson's Disease.
