Alaska Zoo 2016 "Binky the Polar Bear" - Hard Rock Cafe Anchorage Binky the Polar Bear with Tourist's Stolen Shoe Binky the Polar Bear was an Alaska Zoo celebrity in the early 90's, who taught a shutterbug tourist a painful lesson when she by-passed several safety barriers to snap a close-up of the full grown male polar bear. A bite wound and broken leg later, the tourist relinquished her sneaker as Binky's souvenir from the incident, etching in time this iconic image. That sneaker dangles from Binky's mouth on this pin, as he strolls across an iceberg guitar body, a mountain and 2016 appear behind him all accented in gold, the yellow Hard Rock Cafe Logo and Anchorage bottom rocker appear on the fretboard which extends from a baby blue headstock that, fittingly, bears a green Alaska Zoo Logo dangle, rimmed in gold.
