K'Ehleyr came aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise to assist a recently awakened Klingon sleeper ship. The half-Human, half-Klingon ambassador arrived in a modified photon torpedo tube and quickly got reacquainted with Lieutenant Worf. The result of their union was a son, Alexander. K'Ehleyr was killed by Duras during the conflict over the Klingon Rite of Succession following K'mpec's death.
