Biennale 2 of 3 The Scream

Number 2 of a 3 pin local collection.

The Venice Biennale is an international art festival held every two years. The festival exhibits rare art exhibits as well as highlighting new and early recognised artists.

#2 Pin is inspired by The Scream painting.

The Scream is the popular name given to a composition created by Norwegian Expressionist artist Edvard Munch in 1893. The agonised face in the painting has become one of the most iconic images of art, seen as symbolising the anxiety of the human condition.

The pin uses colours and similar movements of the artists original composition but replaces the anguished figure with opage and non conforming shapes hovering above the wavelike pattern.

Venice is presented in the top banner with the year 2019 split on either side of the destination name.

Hard Rock Logo and type is at the base of the pin.
