In the 2006 RLC sELECTIONs voting, RLC members were given a choice of four all-new payload designs created by Ira Gilford especially for the "heavyweights" base cab. Since only one can win, that left four amazing designs uncreated. Not to waste the considerable talent of Mr. Gilford, HWC created the Billboard Truck as an RLC exclusive, while yet another version would be available at the Hot Wheels Collectors Convention.
In our quest to bring Ira's design to life, HWC also decided to brighten things up by putting a light inside the billboard! This vehicle is sure to light up your life (or at least your room) with a built-in LED. At HWC, it's all about bringing back the very best of Hot Wheels past, but also innovating and bringing to collectors the very best.
