Designed by Larry Wood, the Bone Shaker was released in 2006 and is one of the few Hot Wheels castings to be considered an instant sensation! When we included it in the casting options for the first Red Line Club sELECTIONs of 2007 in the Larry Wood's Designs vs. Ira Gilford's Designs, it rumbled and rattled its way into first place, and members couldn't wait to get their hands on it.
As if the Bone Shaker wasn't cool enough already, RLC members also chose to give this release a frosty Spectraflame ice blue finish! While teeth were still chattering, the final decision made by members was to prop this rod up on some hot Real Riders five-spoke wheels with red stripes! Then the HWC graphics team got a chance to chill with this hot-and-cold running car, and the final result was a skull-popping, jaw-dropping, chart-topping hit!
