Ira Gilford’s “Heavyweights” Hot Wheels castings of the early 1970s would become iconic designs of the young brand. With both short- and long-bed versions, there were plenty of varieties. The HWC restoration of the short-bed castings began with the Tow Truck in 2004, paving the way for more returns and new varieties. In 2010, at last, RLC brought back the long-bed casting! The HWC Series Nine Neo-Classics Cement Truck really pounds the pavement.
