Charity pin to benefit the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation. The foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps families of Chicago police officers killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
This pin was designed & created by Hard Rock Chicago employee and artist Brian Perez to pay honor to Officer Thor O. Soderberg 14767 who was tragically killed in the line of duty July 7, 2010 while serving and protecting the people of Chicago.
Pin features a bicycle and pole with two street signs that say "THOR" & "14767". On July 8, 2024 the section of road at 1300 W, Jackson in front of the Chicago Police Department Academy was named "Honorary C.P.D. Thor O. Soderberg Way". To the left of the bicycle is the Hard Rock classic logo in blue letters and background. Below the logo is the word " Chicago 2025 " in blue cursive letters. Above the logo is a black section of the Memorial Wall where all the names of Fallen Officers are engraved. This section feaures a Gold Star police badge with black and blue ribbon on it. On either side of the gold star are two red stars. Behind the wall is a grey Chicago city skyline on a white background.
Back of pin says "Limited Edition 300."
Pin sold on a black limited edition backing card. Additional black and white backing card provided with every purchase of the Fallen Heroes pin. The front of the backing card features the Hard Rock Cafe logo in black and white letters on the top left corner and the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation logo in blue, black, and white on the top right corner. In the center of the card is a large black and white five-point star with black mourning ribbon in the middle. At the bottom of the card are the words "CHICAGO'S FALLEN HEROES" in blue letters. Back of card says 15% of sales will benefit the foundation.
