Classic Cord

Subvariant title: 2010 HWC Real Riders
16 Variants
Back in 1929, the Auburn Automobile Company offered the first American-made front-wheel drive cars when it launched its Cord lineup. They were only available until 1937, and remained little known to Hot Wheels collectors until 1971 when Larry Wood recognized the Cord for its gorgeous design and created the Hot Wheels version of the Cord 812. The HWC Series Nine Real Riders Classic Cord was a rare opportunity to get an edition of this great Hot Wheels casting.
Although the casting made its Hot Wheels debut in 1971, it wasn't seen again until we retooled it for HWC Series Four in 2005. Since its retooling until this release, it had been used once as an RLC Party Car, and once as a Priority Rewards car. That's it! Whether you're a classic car collector, a Larry Wood completist, or just know a sweet ride when you see one.
With opening hood, Spectraflame classic yellow finish, removable black top and Real Riders on six-spoke wheels w/whitewall tampo; this "classic" is one you need to add to your collection!
