The model was supposed to be produced by Corgi Toys, and on the market simultaniously with the real car from the Landrover company. Due to various reasons the real car was withdrawn, and only a few exist. The model was then melted down, according to the Corgi van Cleemput 'bible'. It was supposed to be nr 212, a number which was never used afterwards. Only one picture of the model remains in the book. I made my model after that picture. There is some metal in the structure, but also a lot of two-component clay. The box was made by a friend.
