Destination Name Magnet

Part of the worldwide Core Destination Name Series. Each magnet is a large city name with an iconic local image, all in 3D antique copper.

Seattle features the city name in a slight arc, with the Seattle Center monorail at top right. A monorail is a train that runs on a single rail. Built for the 1962 World's Fair, the Seattle Center monorail is the first full-scale commercial monorail system in the United States. Monorail runs on an elevated railway between Westlake Center in downtown Seattle and the Space Needle observation tower at Seattle Center. Monorail on pin runs right to left on a rail across the top of the letters in the city name, in front of the two T's and behind the L. Hard Rock Cafe logo is at bottom right, all in antique copper, with an engraved look and no city name. Large city name has a thick underline that runs slightly upward from bottom left to right and passes behind the logo. City name, underline, logo and monorail are raised. Recessed background is darker copper.
