Dump Truck

The plastic 1948 GMC Hubleys don't get a lot of love, but America was still recovering from the war and plastic was easy to obtain and to mold.

There are two dump trucks from this era and they look nearly identical (#320 and #322).  This one is half an inch larger and does not have a removable cab.  They both use the same rear section.  If you're buying online and can't hold the toy in your hand, this cab has "bumper guards" and no lights on top of the cab.

This was released in 1951 then discontinued and released again for 1957-1958.  The later version was made of softer plastic and those are worth about 1/3 less.

All versions had a yellow dump and either a red or green cab.
