What hasn't been said about "Exile on Main Street?" When the record was release it was not well recieved, but is now considered a masterpiece, and ranked as one of the best albums ever made. It was recorded in the basement of a villa in the South of France that Keith Richards was living in at the time. The band brought in their Mobile Recording Studio Truck and set up shop. The LP was a mix of Rock, Gospel, Country, Swing and Ballads.

It was one big party at the house with people dropping in and out on a regular basis including, William Burroughs, John Lennon, Gram Parsons, and Marshall Chess.
