The Ferrari 312 P was a Group 6 Prototype Sports Car. It was developed by Ferrari following a boycott of the Sports Car racing because of the change of rules unfavorable to the Italian automaker. The car was first developed as a "Barchetta" (open version) and later as "Berlinetta" (closed top version).
