Part of the 2021 Flag and Landmark Girl Series, sold exclusively in the Online Rock Shop. Pins are nearly identical to the global 2015 Flag and Landmark Girl Series, with slight differences in front logo and back pattern. Series consists of four pins, each representing a Hard Rock location that opened or expanded in 2019 or 2020. Each pin features a sexy girl wrapped in a national or state flag, with one or more iconic local landmarks in the background.
Berlin Checkpoint Charlie pin features a blonde girl wearing only the flag of Germany, an army green military hat and red high-heeled shoes. Girl forms the right edge of the pin, facing right and looking back over her right shoulder, with the flag flowing behind her to the left. Flag consists of horizontal stripes of black, glittering red, and gold.
Above and behind the flag is the Checkpoint Charlie guardhouse in white and army green, fronted by a wall of gray sandbags. Checkpoint Charlie was the best-known crossing point between East and West Berlin during the era of the Berlin Wall (1961-1989). The checkpoint has since become a major tourist attraction. Hard Rock Checkpoint Charlie Rock Shop opened on August 28, 2020.
Hard Rock Cafe logo is at bottom center with location name (Checkpoint Charlie) in copper. Design is 3D pin on pin, with Hard Rock logo as top layer and all other elements as bottom layer.
Pin was sold only in the Online Rock Shop, not at Hard Rock Checkpoint Charlie Rock Shop.
Back of pin says "Limited Edition 200."
Sold on a green and blue backing card covered in travel words and images. On back of card is a poem in white type. Card is same as the one created for the 2015 global series.
Pins in this online series differ from the 2015 global series in two minor ways:
- Hard Rock logo includes location name in the same copper color as the pin base material. The 2015 pins have location names in red screen print.
- Back pattern is still Hard Rock logos and diagonal guitars, but the logos and guitars are larger, and the word "Cafe" does not appear in the logos.
