There are conflicting records on the web about the 1979 season. Scala 43 claims that this is a Hans Heyer car but no evidence was turned up that he drove a #2 car that year. He may have driven this car when numbered #27, #36, and #55. Most of the season's records show him in the Mampe Ford Zakspeed Ford Capri III Turbo.
