- Authentic and detailed likeness of Hulkbuster in Avengers: Age of Ultron
- Special features on armor:
- Chest can be opened to reveal the Mark XLIII bust with LED light-up eyes and arc reactor on chest
- Metallic red, gold and silver colored painting on armor with weathering effect
- Over 16 LED light-up areas in eyes, arc reactor on chest, repulsor palms, back, and legs (white light, battery operated)
- Shoulder armors can be opened
- One interchangeable battle damaged chest armor plate
- Three interchangeable neck armor parts for displaying the Mark XLIII bust
- One pair of removable forearm armors
- One pair of hands with movable fingers and light-up repulsors (white light, battery operated)
- Great articulations on legs with armor parts linkage designs

Note: Due to upgrades and "specification changes" to this figure the original release date was postponed over one and a half year. The upgrades included:
- Ability to remove the previously built-in Iron Man Mark XLIII upper body facsimile part and replace it with the separate Hot Toys Iron Man Mark XLIII figure (MMS278D09)
- Adding a moving part to the neck shield of the helmet making it retractable instead of having to remove it when opening the helmet
- Adding movable parts to the gauntlets making them more movie-accurate
- Reinforcing the internal support frame in the legs and hands by replacing plastic parts with metal ones
