FOR THE LOVE OF RACING
Hot Wheels joined forces with IWC to create the ultimate racing package, which we will officially unveil at the 78th Goodwood Members’ Meeting. Introducing the coveted IWC x Hot Wheels Racing Works collector set. This ultra-rare racing collectible contains a Special Edition IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition and a specially crafted Hot Wheels Mercedes-Benz 300SL in a plated and numbered metal toolbox.

THE CAR
The 1:64th scale Hot Wheels Mercedes-Benz 300SL ‘Racing Works Edition” is an authentic replica of the IWC Racing team’s Mercedes-Benz 300 SL “Gullwing”. This version features: die-cast metal body and chassis with opening gullwing doors; a detailed interior complete with bucket seats, roll cage and red sill trims; exquisitely replicated exterior details like clear headlights, MB Star braces, Real Riders Tires, and racing graphics; and the number 68 to signify when Hot Wheels was created.

THE WATCH
The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition ‘IWC x Hot Wheels Racing Works” features: a 43MM case made of grade 5 titanium, the Hot Wheels flame logo on its side at 9 o’clock, a subtle checkered racing flag pattern around the chronograph totalizers, a smoked glass case back that allows you to see the calibre movement, and a silver and black 1-piece textile strap.

THE ENTIRE PACKAGE
The chronograph and the model car are presented in a unique metal toolbox with a limitation plate with the individual corresponding set number indicating that this is the first set of only 50 that will ever be created.

This premier set was auctioned online by international auction house Bonhams, with the proceeds going to the Two Bit Circus Foundation.
