Jumpin' Jack Flash is one of the most recognizable riffs in Rock 'n' Roll and was played on every tour since its release in 1968. The song appeared first as a single than added as a track to the octagon-shaped record titled, "Through the Past Darkly." The flipside being "Child of the Moon" which had no album to call home until "Hot Rocks."  The song's title references Keith Richards then gardener named Jumpin' Jack Dyer. Thanks to Bill Wyman and his bass riff, which caught Keith Richards' attention, from there, it took off. Keith often referrs to the riff as his favorite. The song has appeared on every best of music list, including: *Rolling Stones' 500 Greatest Songs of All-Time ~ #125; *The Critic's Best Song List ~ #56; and, * Rolling Stone's Best Rolling Stone Songs ~ #7.
